For your kind consideration is this vintage Gretsch 5×14 chrome over brass model 4160 snare drum from the 60s. This snare has a smooth chrome exterior and Micro-Sensitive strainer with adjustable butt end that both function perfectly. The strainer is missing the small plate and screws that normally hold the snare cords which are threaded through the holes as shown. The chrome on the spun brass shell is in very good condition overall with no pitting and a bump on the key holder as shown. A handful of tension rods have also been changed. Most importantly, this drums tunes up wonderfully and sound incredible. Enjoy!
