The Powerbass S-1204 is a 12-inch single 4-ohm subwoofer designed to deliver powerful and high-quality bass. With a power rating of 300 watts RMS and 600 watts peak, it is capable of producing deep and impactful low frequencies. The subwoofer features a proprietary DDC coated paper/wool cone and a pressed 4-layer large roll foam surround, ensuring durability and optimal performance. It also incorporates a 2-inch vented BASV voice coil former and perimeter Aero-Vent voice coil cooling vents to dissipate heat effectively during heavy use.
The S-1204 is housed in a non-resonance DDC coated stamped steel basket, providing a sturdy and rigid structure. It includes rubber mounting gaskets and a trim ring for easy and secure installation. The subwoofer is designed for use in both small sealed or ported enclosures, allowing flexibility in system design. With a frequency range of 31 Hz – 500 Hz, it covers a wide spectrum of low-end frequencies. The subwoofer’s sensitivity of 88 dB ensures efficient power utilization, and its motor structure with a 142 oz magnet delivers strong and precise bass response.
